Practice this to overcome the issues in your life!

I have discovered a secret to winning the battles in my life.  It has enabled me to get past them and live peacefully.

It is simple:  I practice mindfulness. Mindfulness involves acceptance of my current situation.  It means that I pay attention to my current thoughts and feelings without judging them.  It enables me to focus on the present not the past or the future.

Mindfulness has enabled me to overcome anxiety, because anxiety for me is worry about the future.

  • It has enabled me to overcome depression and cope with PTSD, because it prevents me from focusing on the past.
  • It has also gives me the presence of mind to think clearly about my current issues and therefore make better decisions about what I need to do.
  • Mindfulness means maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and surrounding environment.

Mindfulness lowers my stress, therefore improving my health.

When I practice mindfulness, I take deep breaths and clear my mind of all thoughts.  Then I meditate about one thing at a time.  I meditate about one thing at a time.  For more information about how to practice mindfulness and meditate, click here.

You can alleviate your anxiety and depression and PTSD too! You can cope better with your circumstances, no matter what they are.  Simply practice mindfulness.

Mindfulness takes away the control that issues have in your life and gives the control back to you!  When the issues no longer control you, you overcome them!

Parents, tell your children what you are doing as you practice mindfulness.  Teach them by your example.

Soar like an eagle over life’s storms.  Begin practicing mindfulness today!
