Always remember this key to surviving and remaining healthy.
I am me, and You are you. We are both Survivors, and we can both be happy.
I am me.
I keep myself busy by:
- Writing to help others.
- Picking up trash on early morning walks.
- Practicing piano every day.
- Helping others every chance I get.
I must constantly work to maintain my mental and physical health because of the damages caused by others’ abuse, I spend every moment of every day doing the best I can, and I always do my best to focus on the positives in my life.
My birth family does not accept and love me. But I do. I accept and love myself for who I am. Many other people, however, do love me and accept me for who I am.
Because those who do not accept me for who I am have the problem, not me!
I am happy in spite of my past hardships and those who do not accept me for who I am.
You are you.
And you are different things to different people, because you may be a parent, a sister, a brother, a daughter, or a son. You may be a musician, a writer, a nurse, or a mechanic. Whatever countries pass through your DNA do not matter. The color of your skin does not matter. What you do for a living does not matter.
And what matters is “now”. How you spend your time.
- Live in the present moment, not worrying about the past or the future.
- Focus on your present energy, the present state of the world, and the present state of your life.
- Always focus on the positives in your life.
- Accept and love yourself for who you are.
- Never forget that you are special and unique.
You are a gift from God to the world, and your life blesses everyone around you. You make contributions to the world that no one else makes.
Because those who do not accept you for who you are have the problem, not you!
You can be happy in spite of your past hardships and those who do not accept you for who you are.
We are both survivors!
You do not have to allow your past to cause you to struggle every day of your life. You can overcome it. Just live in the present and focus on the positives in your life.
I am me. You are you. We are both Survivors. We can both be happy!
Always remember that you are special!
Soar like an eagle over the storms in your life. Always remember this and have a happy day!
